So, most of you, our loyal follower, must have noticed this LONG downtime. Shit happens. We’ve had very bad days here, first experiencing a hard drive failure (the hard disk of the server fucked up all of a sudden), then trying to recover whatever we could, then seeing that our old hosting provider was nothing else but a bunch of turds (their behavior played a major role in the longness of the downtime). In the end we had to move to another server and restore what we managed to recover. Some posts are still missing (from March 26 to March 31), but I’ve already asked our posters to try and repost whatever they can.
We are very sorry about these issues, we do care about this place and all you visitors.

Title and screenshots are quite self-explanatory. Hotfile started terminating accounts for “repeated copyright infringment” a couple of days ago, and now our turn has come. This involves not only the termination of the account, but also the deletion of ALL the files stored in it. Our posters received the same treatment as many others…all the hotfile links listed here are gone. As far as we know, thousands of accounts are gone already.
This is surely due to the fact that hotfile is facing some bad legal actions against it.
Anyway do not panic, as many of you may remember this is not the first time that one host go down and other grow bigger. It happened to rapidshare about a year ago, we are sure that other hosts will grow larger and gain more popularity.
Filesonic and Fileserve, seems already 2 great alternatives.
In order to keep your downloading experience the fastest possible, we will be adding more mirrors…

R.I.P. Hotfile
Hi guys, today I would like to receive some feedbacks about the filehosts we allow. As you already know, the most used atm are HotFile, FileServe and DepositFiles, but I’m considering asking our posters to provide FileSonic and BitShare as well. These two seems to be gaining popularity so it’s time to know what you all think about it. Use comments below to share your ideas, and thanks for making PornFactor.net bigger and better :)
You may have noticed that pornfactor.net has been offline for about 24 hours. We had to fight a ddos attack and move our site to a new location. The server where pornfactor is located now should react better in such situations (better hardware, better connection, better setup…costs 2,5 times more, but fuck that guys, just enjoy it! :D )
